Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:1–4
HOME GROUP DISCUSSION
- What is The Gospel?
- What does it mean in the first verse of 1 Corinthians 15 to "stand" in The Gospel?
- Kyle illustrated The Gospel as a circular target: a center made up of Gospel Truths; a surrounding ring of Gospel Realities revealed by the Truths; and an outer ring of Gospel Conduct that the Realities make possible. Kyle used Judgement as an example of how this works: Gospel Truth - Christ is the Judge of mankind; Gospel Reality - All wrongs will someday be made right by Christ; Gospel Conduct - I do not need to seek vengence but can forgive instead because Christ will judge righteously. What other examples can you think of where Gospel Truths and Realities affect your Conduct?
- Who can relate to Gospel Conduct?
a. Brothers and sisters in the Lord
b. Unbelievers
c. All of the above
- When talking about Gospel Conduct with believers or unbelievers, what other parts of The Gospel should you point back to?
a. Gospel Realities
b. Gospel Truths
c. All of the above
