-How would you define sin and trespass/transgression? How would you communicate these to a non-believer?

-Why was it important to see the concept of spiritual deadness in this passage? What does it add to our understanding of the human condition?

-What are the three aspects of our natural 'walk' in this passage (what do we follow)? Why is this significant for to understand as believers?

-Why is the concept of God's wrath so hard for non-believers to understand or accept? How is this doctrine directly tied to God's character?

-The sermon ended by highlighting the fact that we need to retain our identity as sinners, saved by God's grace (see 1 Timothy 1:15). Why are both important in the Christian life?

Recommended Worship Songs for YOU ARE... MARRED:
The catastrophic result of Adam and Eve's sin was the corruption of all mankind in a way that destroyed our relationship with God. The hymn, Hallelujah! What a Savior, says we are “ruined sinners” who are “guilty, vile, and helpless.” In the modern Sovereign Grace song, O Great God, man is described with a complete inability to see, hear or taste the goodness of God apart from His saving grace.
