-Kyle began this sermon by acknowledging the deep hurt caused by churches that break apart. Have you experienced this in a local church - or been closely connected to those who have? What attitudes were involved? What affect did it have on you, or those who went through it?

-Why is disunity an evidence of immaturity? Why is it evidence of acting in a merely human way?

-How would you address a divisive attitude forming in a fellow ITC member whom you are discipling? What would you want them to see about disunity and why?

-Read 3:5-9 as a group. What do you see in this passage about our role and God's role? How would these truths help us to counter disunity with the church... specifically factionalism?

-Spend time praying for ITC's unity in Christ (John 17:20-23)
