- Why do you think it was hard for the people who grew up with Jesus to accept who he was revealed as? Have you ever experienced anything similar with your own family or those closest to you when you revealed you were dedicated to God's ways through faith in Christ?

- Can you think of anything reassuring about the account of Jesus being rejected by the people in his home town of Nazareth?

- What kind of view of Jesus did the people of Nazareth and Herod have in common? How would you share the gospel with someone like that today?
