- In Romans 12:1, "this world" could also be translated "this age." If this implies another "age" or world, what could this be talking about? Is it possible there are more differences between these ages than just chronological?

- What are some of the characteristics and priorities of this age? Can you see how this world is exerting a conforming influence on you? Have you felt this in your life? Where does this influence lead?

- Can we transform ourselves? If not, who transforms us? What does "renewing our minds" have to do with how that happens? What is the result of being transformed by God? Why is that important?
