- How would you define the word 'justification?' What is the difference between a declaration and a command?

- Is biblical justification simply God forgiving us, wiping our slate clean? Why would that not be enough to save us?

- Why is it important that God be both just and justifier, as Paul wrote in Romans 3:26?

- Can you think of some ways we are NOT justified before God? What is the one way we ARE justified before God? (hint: Romans 5:1) How would you describe what it means to have true faith in Christ Jesus?
