Sunday Gathering - August 16th

The Evacuatuion zone that contained our church building been downgraded and we are able to gather there. Please join us at out regular service time at 10:00 AM.

--------

On August 1st, our Spokane community suffered a nearly incomprehensible disaster as fires tore through our city — including the neighborhood we love and call home, where our church building is also located.

To date, 6 families have suffered a complete loss of their home, property, and possessions, and nearly half of our roughly 400-member congregation has been displaced, living in temporary housing due to necessary evacuations — with friends, relatives, in hotels, or other accommodations.

Many people and churches have asked how they can specifically help, and we have set up a Fire Relief Fund for our church.

These resources will be used to care for the immediate, mid-term, and long-term needs of ITC members, and as the Lord gives opportunity, for the good and upbuilding of others in our area.

Although there is much tragedy, we grieve with great hope because of the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord.

If you or your church desire to help and serve our church and those we're connected to, please direct your giving to the Indian Trail Church – Fire Relief Fund.

Exodus 3 and 4

July 11, 2021 Speaker: Kyle Schwahn Series: Exodus

Passage: Exodus 3:1– 4:31

SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION

- In Exodus 3:2, why do you think God appeared to Moses as flame? Can you think of other ways in the Bible that God has been associated with fire?

- In Exodus 3:7, what does it mean when God says, "I have come down?" How will this action lead to deliverance for the people of Israel? Why do you think God chooses to work through people in this world?

- When God reveals to Moses his plans for Moses, how does Moses respond? Have you yourself ever raised objections to something you think God might want you to do? Have you ever done that with things you know God wants you to do? If so, share how that went.

- What does God mean when he said "I AM" in Exodus 3:14-15? What did Jesus mean when he said "I AM" in John 8:56-59?

- Is Exodus the story of how Moses saved the people of Israel? If not, who was the true savior of God's people in Egypt? Who is the true savior of God's people today?
