October 24, 2021 Speaker: Kyle Schwahn Series: ITC Confession of Faith

Passage: 1 Corinthians 3:10–11

SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION

- The most important quality a church can have is that it is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. What is the gospel of Jesus Christ? If the gospel allows us to be born again into Christ as individuals, what does the gospel do for the church?

- In 1 Corinthians 11:17-20, Paul's instruction about the Lord's Supper imply that the church gathers regularly. In this age of technology and online churches, why do you think it's important for a church to gather together? Based on Hebrews 10:24-25, do you think God cares if his children gather together as a church?

- What are some of the ways we are built up as believers by gathering as a gospel church? In 1 Corinthians 12:4-31, spiritual gifts and the body of Christ are discussed. How do gifts and the body relate to one another? Share how you are you using your gifts to build up the body at ITC.

- How do followers of Christ have accountability to the Lord and to one another as a local church?
