- Who are the people in your life who you're confident are watching how you live your life? What characteristics do you hope they'd see evidenced in your day-to-day life?

- Paul mentioned holiness, righteousness and blamelessness. What do each of these mean, and why are they important when ministering to others?

- Can you think of someone in your life who is good at exhorting or encouraging other believers? In your assessment, what makes them so effective? What fruit have you seen from their ministry?

- Assignment: this week, write at least one note, email or text to another member of the body with the goal of encouraging them in Christ.
