- In 1 Thessalonians 2:13-16, Paul speaks to the church about his message. Where does Paul's message come from? What is the difference between the word of men and the Word of God?

- What happens when the Word of God is present in someone's life? Who is to thank for that? How often does a believer need to hear the Word of God?

- In 1 Thessalonians 2:14, Paul mentions suffering. What ways does following the Word of God lead to suffering? Why do others - sometimes even those we love - hate the Word of God? What is it they need? How will they get what they need?
