-Take a few moments in with your group to read a few sections of Psalm 119 (the sections are marked off by letters of the Hebrew alphabet). How do you see the author's delight in the word of God? What are the causes of His joy in God's word?
-Why is it so vital to understand the Scriptures as God's own word? What changes in our doctrine and practice if we think that these are merely human writings?
-Describe something recently that God has been using from His word in your life. This could be teaching, rebuke, correction or training. What passages has He used?
-Paul describes the sacred writings as those which lead to knowledge of, and faith in Christ. How does a Christ-centered view of the Scriptures affect the way we read and apply them?
