WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25th, 5:00PM

Our first ever Pastoral Update video, this one from Pastor Will Barkley:

TUESDAY, MARCH 24th, 12:00PM

To honor Washington State Proclamation 20-25 (the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order), the Indian Trail Church office will be closed from Tuesday, March 24th until Tuesday, April 7th. If you need to reach someone on the Indian Trail Church staff, please send an email to mark@indiantrailchurch.com or laura@indiantrailchurch.com.

The "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order will also be changing our plans as a church for the next two Sunday mornings. Please check back in the next day or two for updates regarding what we will be doing to continue worshiping our Lord.

FRIDAY, MARCH 20th, 12:00PM

Even though the church remains closed for use, the heartbeat of Indian Trail Church carries on as strongly as ever.
- Gospel love is being shown by our church family to many who find themselves in need. If you need help, or would like to help those in need, please take advantage of the Have a Need, Meet a Need program at ITC by clicking or tapping on the button above.
- Our church family is lifting up our families, our community, our nation and the world to a Father in Heaven who hears our prayers. A new ITC Member Directory and ITC Hymnbook has been mailed to all the households of our members and should be arriving today or tomorrow. Please use your Directories and Hymnbooks to encourage and uplift one another while we wait for this time of sickness and caution to improve.
- The elders and staff of ITC carry on their regular weekly meetings to work and pray and plan for whatever may come. To honor the recommendations of our governing authorities, church work and meetings are being done remotely, although there will continue to be someone at the ITC office during our normal business hours of Tuesday-Thursday, 9:30am-3:00pm.
God is at work at all times, and has designed his church to shine in darkness. Please continue being a family of love and the light of God in this world!

TUESDAY, MARCH 17th, 4:00PM

Above, you will see a new "Have a Need, Meet a Need" button. This is a way that the members of Indian Trail Church can both share needs they could use help with, or volunteer to help meet the needs of those who could use help during this crisis. If you are led to request help or offer help, please tap on the button and fill out the appropriate form.

MONDAY, MARCH 16th, 2:00PM

At this time, the Indian Trail Church facilities are closed for any ministry use. Any ministries that were meeting at the church, regardless of size, cannot meet on church property.
The Indian Trail Church office will remain open during our normal weekly business hours of Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30am to 3:00pm.
From Kyle's sermon yesterday, here are twelve relevant points that we can keep in mind during these unusual times:
1. God Reigns
Ephesians 1:11, Daniel 4:34-35, Revelation 1:5, Hebrews 1:2-3, Romans 8:28
2. God Reigns over us
2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalms 19:7-11, Psalms 119:105
3. Therefore, we will not fear
Psalms 46:1-3, Matthew 10:29-31, Matthew 6:25-34, Philippians 4:4-7
4. We will honor authority
1 Peter 2:13-17, Titus 3:1, Romans 13:1-6
5. We will love our neighbors
Matthew 22:36-40, Luke 10:36-37, Galatians 5:13-14
6. We will pray (for our governments, for one another, for spiritual growth)
Colossians 1:9-14, James 5:13, 1 Timothy 2:1-4
7. We will remember death
1 Corinthians 15:25-26, 1 Corinthians 15:54-57, Hebrews 2:14-15, Romans 8:1-2
8. Therefore, we will be beacons of hope in Christ
1 Peter 3:15
9. We will, therefore, shine as light
1 Peter 2:12, Matthew 5:14-16, 1 Peter 2:9
10. We will be zealous for good works
Titus 2:11-14, Galatians 6:9-10
11. We will be faithful in evangelism
Matthew 25:18-20
12. We will be the church
Indian Trail Church Membership Covenant:
• Having been redeemed by God’s sovereign grace, and baptized into union with Christ and His people, we joyfully covenant with one another as a local church. (1 Corinthians
12:13)
• We will love one another with brotherly affection, bearing burdens and sharing in joy and sorrow. (John 13:34-35; Romans 13:8; 1 Peter 1:22; Galatians 6:2; 1 Corinthians 12:26)
• We will cheerfully give to support this local church, meet physical needs within the body, and advance the gospel. (1 Corinthians 9:8-12; 1 Timothy 5:17; Acts 2:45; 20:35; Ephesians 4:28; Philippians 4:15-20; 3 John 5-8)
• We will guard and uphold the gospel by ministering truth to one another, and affirming faithful, qualified leaders. (Matthew 7:15-20; Galatians 1:8-9; Ephesians 4:15; 1 Timothy 3:15)
• We will respect and submit to the pastoral leadership of the church as Christ’s own means of shepherding His flock, recognizing that they will give account for our souls. (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13; Acts 20:28; 1 Peter 5:1-5; Hebrews 13:17)

• We will regularly serve, encourage, exhort, pray for and disciple other members of the church to build them up in Christ and help them grow in godliness. (1 Peter 4:10-11; Galatians 5:13; Hebrews 10:24; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 3:12-13; Ephesians 6:18; Matthew 28:19)

SUNDAY, MARCH 15th, 1:00PM

Thank you for worshipping with us through the live stream of our Sunday morning worship service. The sermon is available to watch in the Sermons section and on ITC Streaming at YouTube. Here are eight points from the sermon for us, the body at Indian Trail Church, to consider in these times:
1. What's going on at ITC?
    - Anything that normally takes place at the church is canceled until further notice.
    - Meetings and ministries outside of the church we leave to your own conscience.
2. How will I know about things?
    - Regular updates will be posted on the home page of the ITC website.
    - Members can also look for texts and emails.
3. We're still a functioning church.
    - The life of the church will continue even while we cannot gather.
    - Stay engaged, both with the staff and each other.
4. The elders are still shepherding the church.
    - Listen to their counsel, and let them know of concerns.
5. The expenses of the church don't change.
    - Find ways to continue your faithful giving to God's work at ITC.
    - You can mail checks, drop them off, or use a credit card on the website.
6. We're going to labor to meet needs.
    - Be ready if called upon to help those in need.
    - Make your needs known to each other, or the church staff.
7. Pray for one another.
    - Look for new directories in the mail and use them to pray for your church family.
    - Let your prayer dirve you to care; reach out to look after and encourage.
8. This crisis is an opportunity.
    - God will do great things during this time.
    - Shine as lights in the world!

SATURDAY, MARCH 14th, 7:00PM

Indian Trail Church will be live streaming a Sunday morning worship service on YouTube at 10:00am on March 15th.

SATURDAY, MARCH 14th, 4:00PM

Dear ITC family,
In light of orders by both the Spokane Regional Health District and Governor Inslee, we will not gather for worship this Sunday or hold other public gatherings like our evening service and youth group.
While this decision brings changes to our logistics as a church, it does not change the nature or calling of the church. We are working hard to ensure that, to the best of our ability, we can still carry out the calling to worship the Lord together. As we teach in our membership classes, we aim for a number of central practices in our Sunday morning gatherings:
We Preach the Word
We Read the Word
We Pray the Word
We Sing the Word
We See the Word (in baptism and the Lord’s Supper)
We Minister the Word
We Give to the spread of the Word
So, what’s the plan during this time when we're unable to gather physically?
First, we're planning to stream a live worship service online. This will be found on the homepage of indiantrailchurch.com and will begin at 10 am Sunday morning. Many of the main elements of our normal services will be a part of this live stream. We will be led in Scripture reading and prayer. Bob will lead us in worship with a small worship team (and yes, we encourage you to sing along). And Kyle will preach a message from the Bible (this week giving Biblical principles to guide our responses in times of hardship like this one). Because we will not be able to pass an offering during this virtual service, we ask that you utilize our online giving option, send your tithes in the mail, or even drop them by the office during the week. Although we will not take communion together until we regather in a number of weeks, we might conduct a baptism within the online service.
Finally, we must not stop ministering the word to one another. While encouraging and praying for brothers and sisters happens easier at our Sunday gatherings, we need to work past the distance continuing to care for one another. Kyle will talk more about this during his message on Sunday morning. But for now, make sure to reach out to one another for mutual care and upbuilding in the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Also, we'd ask that you treat indiantrailchurch.com as your "hub" of information for all things related to the church. Although we may utilize other communication platforms in the weeks to come, this will always be the best place to check-in and find answers to your questions. You can also email the church office at office@indiantrailchurch.com or call 468-8765. Please pass this information along to any non-members who you think would want to stay in contact with our church body during this season.
Finally, let us encourage you to look with hope and confidence to our great God! As the Psalmist said,
Our soul waits for the Lord;
he is our help and our shield.
For our heart is glad in him,
because we trust in his holy name.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you.
  (Psalms 33:20-22)
