Alex will be ministering in Madeira, a small Portuguese island that has almost no exposure to the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Madeira is predominantly Roman Catholic. The lives of the people of Madeira are filled with religious activity, but very few have had the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. There are 11 distinct communities in Madeira, each of which needs a church. Alex will be working alongside a native Madeiran, Claudio, to evangelize and plant a church.
