Safe Families is a ministry that offers support to families in our community that are in crisis. Members of ITC, called host families, open their homes to care for the children of these families while they get back on their feet. This is a simple way to help kids to stay with their families and out of the foster system.

Because there is no financial help from state agencies, Safe Families relies on the church body to help support host families as they care for children  The ministry is growing rapidly.  ITC now has five families that are actively hosting. When children get placed with a host family there are often urgent needs. Making sure host families have the supplies they need helps facilitate a smooth placement for the kids.
