- Psalm 22 begins with words of anguish and torment. What does it mean to be forsaken or abandoned by God? Where else does the Bible record the words of Psalm 22:1 being said?

- In the middle of Psalm 22, the author decribes finding himself in the middle of turmoil. Have you had times in your life of great turmoil or pressure or fear? Are you going through difficult times now, or anticipating difficult times coming up? How should we think of God in all that?

- Despite a life or a time of torment and turmoil, what does the author conclude in Psalm 22:26? What does the hope of man rest in?
